Las Vegas, American city known mostly for gambling and casinos, is the largest city in american Nevada state with almost 600 000 citizens in 2008. Some people reffer to city as Entertainment capital of the world, and gambling paradise, even Chinese town Macau surpassed Las Vegas by gambling income. Las Vegas metropolitan area is the brightest area on earth while being watched from space. Tourism is one of the most important sources of income for Las Vegas. Large casino hotels with thousands of rooms are booked over a whole year. The most famous casinos and hotels (those seen in movies) are located on Las Vegas boulevard (also known as Las Vegas Strip) but large number is located also in downtown.
