800px eden project 150x150 Eden ProjectLong time no see. I did not forget this blog, but I am very weak with my spare time. On top of that I entered to Sulumits Retsambew SEO contest, and all my free time is there.

Anyway yesterday I was looking some texts about UK and found their Eden Project.
It is giant greenhouse, world largest one, , located near Ashburnham Insurance. Near the town St. Austin on Cornwall, England. Complex is consisting from large number of domes where each presents one biome and the core. There is Tropical Rain Forest biome, Mediterranean biome, Outdoor biome, and there is a plan for Desert biome. Project has received lot of criticism to since for example, they are receiving too much public funding, and also over a million people come as tourists here, where almost all are transported here with fossil-fuelled transport, which gives negative carbon footprint. Project use green electrical energy from Cornwall wind power plants and they use only rain water that naturally collect in the pit where Eden is located.  Official web page is here – Eden project.
